finished cleaning a disastrous apartment

drove to San Francisco

viewed my potential room/house i'll be living in next year

possibly picked up some furniture

and drove all the way back home

doesn't seem like a lot i know......but it is.

i took it, my last drive home from san luis obispo. it was weird, and sorta emotional. i'm not too sure why i got teary eyed walking out of that 2 bedroom, small, tan apartment of mine. i spent so much of the year wanting to leave and conching some excuse to get the heck outta there just for a weekend. but this place was special, it was my first home away from home. a lot happened there, and i'm glad i chose to live there.

my last night was filled with wine, laughs, and tears. the perfect ingredient for any occasion if you ask me. the next morning we had lunch at panera. it was delicious. 

thank you kallie and vanessa for making it a year i'll never forget. 

i miss you guys

with school! my first year of college is complete! can you believe it? yeah i can't either, its just a surreal feeling. this year was not easy-at all. not only was college itself difficult, but altering my relationships with people-and let me just say distance is just a length. if you don't let it, it wont change anything. just sayin'.

so its summer-let the nonsense and totally obsessive behavior with my friends begin. you have no idea how excited i am to be around the people who get me. i think that was one of the weirdest things about going away. the humans that get your humor, bad jokes, constant sarcasm, and that share your same values are truly irreplaceable. 

so here is to the summer of 2011!

i celebrated my last night in San Luis Obispo, with dinner-not just any dinner, ribs. my golly i love those things. i looked like a complete fool, i tell you.

sometimes you have to force yourself to interact with human beings. this has been my latest struggle, kidding. well not really. i love staying home, blogging, watching movies, making flash cards, you know all the fun stiff in life. but sometimes right before your roommate is about to walk out of the door, you get up and get dressed, and end up having a fun night. last night this is just what happened. i interacted with human beings.

and after last night, i can sorta say, i'll miss you san luis obispo; only one more month.
