comfort zone

so today i went to Morro Bay. i had never been there before but my friends (kallie and sydney) had gone once before. at first i thought it was just going to a little shack of a town, but it turned out to be one of the cutest places i had ever been. i'm so glad i went, so so so glad i drove my little bum there. we started off wandering through the streets, and ended up by the water grabbing a cone. actually i made a couple of purchases. see the thing is, when i see a thrift store, i run. okay i don't not actually run, but i walk really fast. sometimes i trip, other times i just make a complete fool of myself. usually the second thing. i bought  myself a cute, long, black, sway -like dress. its the best ever. oh and since i have a major weakness for flannels, i grabbed a blue and red one too. as we were finishing our day, we stopped by this antique shop, i searched for an iron bed. (if any of you have one, and are selling it, holla. kthanks.) i didn't get an iron bed, but i did get this fabulous old camera. its a Polaroid Land Camera. thank goodness it came with instructions because i have NO idea how to use it at all. however, i'm so glad i got it, i'm going to have so much fun with it. wait till see you the old, vintagy pictures i take.

fast forward about 300 steps, some stairs, and $2.95 later...ice cream. 

my day was fabulous and i'm so so so so glad i went.

do you ever try about 3 different flavors when you're at the ice cream, parlor? sit there for 4 seconds, and just end up getting the same flavor you've been getting for your whole life? well i do, i love that comfort zone of mine.

oh and if you hadn't already noticed my boyish cut....i took some meat cutter to my bangs....oh well.

This might possibly be the worst photo shoot mans ever seen. I'm not kidding. It's bad, but it's my fault. I waited till after the sun was already going down to say.. "Hey Kal....we should get some pictures.." 

She's such a doll for putting up with me, she really is. But who wouldn't want to put up with me? Ok, I'm totally kidding. Ha.

 I can't believe tomorrow is already Wednesday. I love Thursdays, it really gives you something to look forward too. Oh and I guess it's cool because I have no school. Also a bigggie plus. 

You know who I'm slowly falling in love with? I already had a little crush on him, but now this crush is in full force. Griffin House. The music is so amazing. His voice is pure heaven, so soothing. Loook!

I need to do laundry tonight. I'm going to take my little backpack, and go to the laundry mat. You know the weird thing about college is, laundry mats. I love them. It's actually a nice place to study, it's not the quietest place but for some reason I love going there. Luckily, our town had a clean one. Bahh.

I'm talking about the good blues. I love blues. Today it was gloomy here on the Central Coast. I loved it though, when it's rainy and  gloomy I have THE best day ever. I wore blue stuff. It may be becoming my new favorite color in fact. 

We must talk business.......real important I tell you.

       Thrift Store baby!

I love thrifting, it's one of the best thing ever. You can find so many things that you would have paid like 5 times the amount in a regular store. There's also way more variety in a thrift store, you have TONS of different stores basically all together in one. It rocks.

Tomorrow I'm going home. Well I'm actually taking one stop in San Francisco. I love that city. I do, next year I'll most likely be living there. Imagine my blog then? Oh my, it's going to be amazing. Just wait. Just wait.

Okay but then Friday I'm going homeeeeee. To Oakdale, to the place I never thought I'd be wanting to go back. Ok, I'm only staying for 2 days, but it's a get-away. Yah. A get-away, I said it. I'll most likely play with all my dogs, relax, and seriously just do nothing. Spend some much needed time with momma and Travis. (Travis is my brother, he's a cutie. You'll meet him someday.)

So for today's shoot I wandered around in this field...You know what's really weird? I'll tell ya. Okay, when people pass by either car or bike, and stare. "uhhhh hiiiiii......the fence!" Is usually what I end up saying...they don't get it. I don't blame them.

Tomorrow is Hilary's Birthday! You met her HERE! So tonight I'm taking her out for her birthday. We will find some cute birthday like  place to go to. I'll come back with some photos, dontcha worry.

Oh, and the whole reason for this photo, was because Kallie makes fun of me for painting my nails. Well she makes fun of me, because literally 24 hours later, the paint is all gone. YES, I bite my nails, what a horrible habit.
