cord back in hands

(Shirt: Urban Outfitters. Pant: F21. Shoes: Gap. Purse: Thrifted. Shades: Gifted.)

i finally have my cord, well this means two things. one i'm back
home, gone from sf, sadly. i hate leaving that place, i really do. in a couple months though i'll be living there, doing all those fun things on a daily basis. and two i can finally give you all some photos. they aren't the most exciting things ever, because every time i pull out the camera, and ask, "can you take a photo...it's for the fence..." i get this look from eric, he thinks i'm insane, but he knows how much i love this little baby blog i have going, and knows how much it means to me; i keep reminding myself that's why he never turns me down when i ask for a picture.

these are the things that made this one of the best spring breaks i've ever had. (well besides 8th grade, when i went to Washington dc and Boston...can you say the best thing ever? right hilary?)

  • eating either Pho or a huge-add-anything-we-can-find salad every single day
  • waking up at 8 to say good morning and good night to eric as he ventured off to school
  • riding the muni everywhere- seriously the best comic relief after tiring walk around the city
  • late night runs to 7-11; did we really need that XL slurpee, and two bags of chips?
  • the usual ben and jerry treat; mud slide? have you tried?
  • the amount of the clothes i bring, when all i ever do is where boy clothes and sweats
  • experiencing hot yoga with eric; oh and HE loved it
  • the dog/horse races that take place up stairs (his landlord, making her usual running down the stairs morning wake up call)
  • getting robbed by a rather sly man, who yes did have a gun...can't decide if they made my trip more exciting.
  • and most of all the weather; people i love the bay area's weather, (no matter what you sun seekers think, overcast rocks)

now i'll spend the remainder of the weekend with my family, the people who i love the most.

added strawberries in brita...what a splendid idea eric
the city can be so beautiful when it wants to be

yes i'm totally taking pictures on a busy street called lincoln...yes people were staring.
wow, boy do i look great.
see sf has thing garbage policy, in the moment of throwing something out it seems like a hassle, but seriously we should all do this!

i couldn't figure out why someone would use this...

this was that soup i was talking about, pho. the BEST stuff ever.

p.s. did you guys watch the royal wedding? yeah yeah,; so there are more important things going on in the world right now, but come on it's history. kate was beautiful.

xoxo

my two day Easter

yes this is a photo of me indulging in corn. i love corn, especially when its on a cob. i love getting stuff in my teeth. such a satisfying treat.

since i didn't have my camera cord, connected  to me or the computer all week i've been seriously lacking in all aspects of the blog scene. here's my Easter, it was spent trying little candies, complaining about the ham, and reminding the little children what Easter is really about. i love egg hunts, don't get me wrong, there's nothing like a pastel, sweet, soft pink little egg, hiding behind that bush, but sometimes i think we forget what Easter is really about. whatever religion you may be, or however you believe, there's one thing that this holiday, and every holiday for that matter should do, celebrate family. when our day comes to and end, and we stop running into random people, we come home to our families. our families are what really matter in this crazy world of ours.

so on my Easter weekend i spent it with family. a big family bbq, completed with smores, and the annual egg dying festivities. and a sweet reminding Easter on just how special family is.

so Saturday...

half day of girl's shopping...i love doing this. the one looking at us is my mother, she's hilarious, and my aunt on the left. seriously the best times when we are all together. going to do major damage at old navy...anyone happen to see their incredible sales?
have you had the new size? a trenti? or whatever it's called. for the giggles, i ordered it. i think my mom called me ridiculous.

my adorable cousin, maddison.
kylie and logan, my new neighboors, but lifetime cousins and friends.
proudly showing off his chipped tooth...little boys are the cutest.
i've dyed eggs with her every year since she was born.
children are truly artists.

And then came Sunday...
oh hey brother...it's always an interesting and life changing car ride when he drives
grandma's wonderful lunch

haystacks? have you ever had them?
a little rascal by the name of erica about 17 years ago broke the ear...
my first Easter basket...i cannot wait to show my babies that some day. thanks grandma for saving it.
of course he made an appearance.

alive and well

hi, i'm still alive. very alive and well thank you. i've been in San Francisco for the past week, riding buses, buying my new favorite soup, oh and spending time with my favorite person. my camera cord isn't with me, so that is the reason for the lack of updates. my apologies, truly.

to tie you over until i get that sweet cord of mine, here.

last night as eric and i were acting ridiculous and being funny as usual, i did this, and said...
"do you think, if i look like a Pharaoh they will invite me to the royal wedding?..."

maybe it was a "had to be there" kinda thing...

i'm on spring break, and im loving every second of it!

xoxo be back soon.

comfort zone

(Shirt: stolen from brother's closet. Pants: given. Shoes: F21. Necklace and Watched: gifted.)

so today i went to Morro Bay. i had never been there before but my friends (kallie and sydney) had gone once before. at first i thought it was just going to a little shack of a town, but it turned out to be one of the cutest places i had ever been. i'm so glad i went, so so so glad i drove my little bum there. we started off wandering through the streets, and ended up by the water grabbing a cone. actually i made a couple of purchases. see the thing is, when i see a thrift store, i run. okay i don't not actually run, but i walk really fast. sometimes i trip, other times i just make a complete fool of myself. usually the second thing. i bought  myself a cute, long, black, sway -like dress. its the best ever. oh and since i have a major weakness for flannels, i grabbed a blue and red one too. as we were finishing our day, we stopped by this antique shop, i searched for an iron bed. (if any of you have one, and are selling it, holla. kthanks.) i didn't get an iron bed, but i did get this fabulous old camera. its a Polaroid Land Camera. thank goodness it came with instructions because i have NO idea how to use it at all. however, i'm so glad i got it, i'm going to have so much fun with it. wait till see you the old, vintagy pictures i take.

fast forward about 300 steps, some stairs, and $2.95 later...ice cream.

my day was fabulous and i'm so so so so glad i went.

how's your weekend going? i wanna know!

xoxo

i love these two so so so much
do you ever try about 3 different flavors when you're at the ice cream, parlor? sit there for 4 seconds, and just end up getting the same flavor you've been getting for your whole life? well i do, i love that comfort zone of mine.

oh and if you hadn't already noticed my boyish cut....i took some meat cutter to my bangs....oh well.
