squint and you'll see i swear

one of the first things eric pointed out as we approached the mountain was, "hey erica, look at that. do you see an Indian? and then a bear? they are staring at each other."

at first i didn't see it, then i squinted my eyes, and wallah!

pretty cool huh?

HAVE A FABULOUS SUN SHINNING DAY.
(i still like the gloom better though)

dirt, greens, and lots of rocks

hi there

so today i went hiking. yes hiking with dirt, trees and lots of rocks. in fact i fell a few times, leaving little pebbles to make their way to my hand hands. i loved every minute of today. mid 60's, perfect sun, and hey it even made me like the sun a little more. the few flowers we stumbled upon were painted with so much color, it was insane. eric and i started around noon, and after stopping every couple of feet to take a photo of two we eventually made our way to the top. oh did i mention that eric i really interested in photography now? he kept snagging shots, of every little beautiful thing he saw. so anyways, eric packed us a little lunch and some water jugs. (luckily, i didn't have to carry anything...whata sweetie)

but, i did find a stick. about 20 feet up the trail i find this large stick. (eric called it a twig, or some sarcastic remark..i just think he was highly envious that i found it) but i kept walking with it, hoping it would get me to the top, or should i say "i was hoping i would make it to take it to the top.) yeah well it didn't make it, i did though. eric threw it down the steep cliff after it snagged his shirt for the 5th time...mr. walking stick...you were loved.

the most important lesson i learned today though, wasn't to walk in front of your friends, in order to keep your stick; however i learned that no matter how hard something is you need to push yourself. the most encouraging tool is your best friend. there were so many times were i wanted to stop today, so many, but i didnt. i'm so glad i finished that hike today, it made me feel so reassuring that i could stick with something.

i'm not too sure what's on the agenda for tomorrow besides: books, classes, and oatmeal, (yes oatmeal...i love that stuff.) but i'm sure i can sneak some excitement in.

it's time for bed...xoxo

a skateboard and a smelly boy

(shirt: thifted. skirt: Kohls. shoes: TJ Maxx. watch: gifted. belt; gifted.)

shout out to kaitlyn. she always asks why i do such funny things with my legs. for you my dear.

i just want to point out that today was one of the best days i've had in a REALLY long. i dont know if it was the sun or waking up to a vistor; but today rocked. it just did. (i think it was the visitor)

i already did a post today, and im anxious to get cozy on the couch. so with that said, have a fabulous night.

tomorrow i'm going hiking. 4 miles round trip! i promise funny photos.

xoxo

someone please do me a favor and come cut my bangs. i'll make you some lemonade.
my personal favorite

a skateboard and a smell boy.

guess who's in town?

yum.
cool painted nails erica...?
he's been blasting his tunes...ALL morning.
eric thought it would be a good idea to revamp my whole patio...i've never even used this little area.

yup, Eric is! you all met him here. he's here for a few days just visiting because he's on his spring break. unfortunately i have school for another couple of weeks until i'm off for spring break. but until then, i get his humor and love for about 3 more days.  i'm oh so so soooo excited. i love when he's around, it's like having my best friend around for tons of sleepovers.

he really loves this little town, he loves the weather especially. this morning he was in love with the mountain views my house has, oh and not to mention the cool breeze. see San Francisco has been quite the gloom bucket these days, so when he sees the sun he gets mighty excited.
it's crazy how different people like different weather. i love gloom, clouds, and rain, when it's cold it's like Christmas to me. dude Eric loved sun, not hot weather but warm enough so he can wear shorts. how in the world are we friends? :)

any who, while i'm away at my 3 o'clock class, he will be venturing the town of San Luis Obispo, with his good ole' high school friends. tomorrow i don't have class, so i think we will spend all day downtown exploring, showing him my little town. (yeah, the town i can't wait to get out of...)

love loves, have a fabulous day.

oh and i forgot to mention, when Eric is around my tummy is happy. he COOKS! oh boy i'm so lucky.

lots more to come!
xoxo

the old man is snoring

i wish i was snoring. in my warm, cozy bed. but no i'm awake, wide awake in fact i've been awake for awhile now. what time do you usually get up?

any who, what's the weather look like on your side of the grass? it's all wet here, clouds are covering all the hills surrounded my little place. it's a tad windy, expected though. i like to look at the rain as a time to use other accessories with rain you can wear cute rain boots, use an flashy umbrella, oh and you can even maybe wear a raincoat? they also call them trench coats these a days. i wish i had a really nice one seen here.

it's so hard to stay busy or i should say stay awake when it's raining. the noise and whole mood makes me wanna crawl into bed and just snooze away.

only 2 day away from the weekend people, hoooray.

since i'm up

i might as well post again. i mean there isn't a lot to do at 6:55 in the morning, i could go for a run, but i just showered. that would be pointless. instead my friends, today i try something new.

i'm starting it today, i'm a tad nervous, well just because i hate being hungry. but lately i've been feeling fatigue and well just plain gross. so i'll treat my body to this thing. i've heard a few people who've done it and loved it. they said it really helped them get on track and just feel a lot healthier about themselves. i suppose that's good right. another kinda scary thing about this is, because it's detoxing your body of bad things, you CAN'T, i repeat CANNOT have caffeine. i hate soda i do, but coffee? i love coffee. (i blame my mother who i swear used to put it in my bottle...only kidding. but for realz)

any who, i'll give this a shot, it's only 3 days...i'll be reporting on how i do. i start at 8.

everyone have a fabulous tuesday...keep puttin' through the week.

xoxo

i'll leave you with a few thing i found while tumbling this past week.
do you rascals tumble? i do, i love it. my roomie kallie got me hooked.
i mostly reblog, so i can't really take credit for anything...but cool pichas.
