room make over

i adore black furniture- it really does go with everything. Pier1 always has the best selection.

TOMS overload...going on 10 pairs...a little glutton of me.

i usually sort my colors, but this time i did my type of shirt...nice blouses..long sleeves...summery shirts...button ups..

dresses can sometime take over a bit- i always put more than one dress on a hanger.

okay so this little hanger thing was actually a curtain hold back, i got creative. 

made use of my high school paintings...momma hung them up.

tall dresser- best furniture decision i have ever made. fits almost anywhere. 

technically this isn't a real make over, but since my room is rarely clean and organized, i'll call it a make over. so yeah, this whole post is about how i managed to unpack, organize, and keep it clean for now 3 days. you think i'm crazy don't you? guys, my room has always been a mess. even since i can remember, it's been a mess. my mom and dad used to help me clean it, then sometimes my mom would just clean it for me, hoping it would be a fresh start and praying i would just keep it up- didn't happen.my best friend makaela, used to be the friend that had seriously the cleanest room ever, me naw...bless her heart she would actually help me clean it. i'm known on both sides of my family for being messy, i think it's because i don't think a messy room makes you the person you are. sure when things are put together, you find items easier and it looks nice, but really why does the world insist our room stay clean?

any who, it's clean, and i'm going to try and keep it this way. i'ts been nice being home from school, i haven't done a lot- in fact iv'e done nothing. i take my pups on walks, we share baskets of blueberries, and bask out in the sun. (well we did that today...) i created a resume, because the job hunting needs to start asap. i'll share tat a little later on this week. oh and guess what???? ali comes home tomorrow! i'm so so so excited for her to get in. kaitlyn, nicole, and myself are all going to go pick her up at the airport! so excited for everyone to be home, sucha  great feeling!

a change

so besides my family picking up everything and moving to a completely different town, i'm sick. see the weird thing here is just a few days ago a couple people were ranting on how wonderful and strong my immune system was. and how "i never get sick...how lucky i was..blah blah blah" well guess what, they jinked me. thanks people. i've felt like poop all day, which caused me to be the worst daughter in the world and not help with any of the moving. i was stuck on a couch for most of the day, trying anything to help me get better. it's 11:15 and still the same. wahhhhh.

oh a sunnier less sick note, this house is beautiful. my momma has already done so much to it, decorating wise. she amazes me on how determined she is, with everything. i totally wish i lived in this house, more than just a weekend here and there. i'm so looking forward to living here during the summer though, it's going to be amazing. oh and did i mention my aunt and uncle live across the street? along with my two adorable cousins. this is seriously going to be just a huge party like all the time. ha.

my last form on comedy were these things. these dogs. my favorite form of comedy. i've never been big on bribery but i wanted them to smile...it didn't work.
